New Database: American Sermons

American Sermons has been added to the library's database collection, and it includes over 8,000 sermons written between 1652 and 1819 covering religion, politics, society, and family life.

Database Trial: Library of Catholic Thought

Mossey Library currently has a trial of the database Library of Catholic Thought. This database offers resources for studying the development of Catholic thought and theology. The core collection includes an introduction to Catholic biblical interpretation, to key figures in the history of Catholic thought, and to major doctrines, themes, and events. The resource also features works on the interactions between Catholicism and modern science, and on the history of Catholic moral theology. It also has digital access to the new, fully revised, third edition of the Jerome Biblical Commentary. Trial ends December 3, 2020.

New Database: Jacoby

Mossey Library now has access to Jacoby, which is a collection of ancient Greek historic texts that were lost, except for fragments (citations, extracts and summaries) found in other sources.

New Database: Patrologia Latina

Mossey Library now has access to Patrologia Latina, which is a digital version of the complete Patrologia Latina, including all prefatory material, original texts, critical apparatus, and indexes.

New Database: Medieval and Early Modern Sources Online (MEMSO)

Mossey Library now has access to Medieval and Early Modern Sources Online (MEMSO). Memso provides primary sources from Britain from 1100-1800 AD.
